Sizing awry

If I buy Carhartt shirts I generally expect a Large to be sufficient. In a more designer based choice I go up a size to XL. Whilst that seem to work with the T-shirt from EB, it was not the case with this shirt. XL even seems to be a little small. I would need an XXL in this to be comfortable. While it seems to be OK visually ie, with arms down, the length is OK but lifting the arms pulls the whole shirt up – not a good look. Seems like all these clothing items have there own peculiar sizing character. The shirt itself is soft to the touch and well made. I would buy it again in the right size if I can offload these two.

Narrow Sleeves, but a Great Shirt Overall

My shirt arrived in well under the ‘time limit’. Everything was as it had been described in the ad. A unique feature I noticed is that the very bottom button hole runs sideways; I assume this is to give the wearer a heads-up when he’s done buttoning. I liked that feature. The only thing I found undesirable is that the sleeves seem very narrow- I always roll up my sleeves and these are out-and-out hard to roll up. I don’t think my arms are fat, in fact they’ve been described as being skinny, so I’m not sure what happened with the sleeves. Washing instructions are accurate except that I haven’t had to iron it at all… it comes out of a long dryer cycle just fine.

Nice shirt, wrinkles too easy for my taste

It is a comfortable shirt, that is fairly nice. Given that it is a work shirt, I figured it may be a bit better about not wrinkling. I was wrong. The wrist also only has one button, so for me, the sleeves are a bit long, and fall over my palms, as I cannot tighten the wrist. Even with all this, I would likely recommend it as a nice shirt that you may need to iron.
